It can be a difficult and sensitive time when seeking out help for your difficulties. Your consultation is confidential. Our staff will ensure you feel comfortable in attending and your patient information is stored securely.
We require your signed consent to collect your personal information, and to share information with other healthcare professionals or third parties. Please note it is a condition in attending this practice that we have your consent to liaise with your GP and other health professionals involved in your care. Collaborative care ensures the best outcomes. If there is information that you do not want released, please discuss this at your appointment.
With your consent, we also encourage participation and attendance of your family members.
Very rarely, we may have to break confidentiality. This may occur if we are concerned that a patient is at risk of harm to themselves or others, or we have safety concerns for a child.
